Takeaway: Every win is 4 Groups + 1 Pair.
To win at Mahjong Island, you need four Groups and one Pair: fourteen tiles in all.
A Group is three tiles. A Set is three alike: the exact same tile, like three 7 Bamboo or three East Winds.
The other type of Group is a Run: three in a row in one suit, like 2, 3, 4 Dots or 5, 6, 7 Characters.
You need four Groups, in any mix of Sets and Runs. This hand has two of each.
Then you need one Pair: two matching tiles, like these two Red Dragons.
Four Groups plus one Pair is a winning hand. That's Mahjong.
