## How is a Run different from a Set?

A Set is three matching tiles, like three 7 Dot tiles. A Run moves up by one each step, in one suit.

Tiles: 7 Dot, 7 Dot, 7 Dot. A Set: three 7 Dot tiles.

## Where do numbers in a row show up on the Island Card?

You win by completing one hand on the Island Card. That hand is 14 tiles that match one line on the card. Some lines ask for numbers in a row, like 1-2-3-4-5. Each of those numbers is a Single, one tile on its own.

## Can a Run go from 9 back to 1?

No. A Run stops at 9. Numbers in a row go 1 to 9 and never wrap back around to 1.

## A simple tip: Jokers cannot fill a Single

A Joker can stand in for a tile in a Set, like two 5 Crak tiles and a Joker. It can never stand in for a Single or a Pair. Each number in a row is a Single, so you need the real tile for every number.
